Founded by Annemarie Roux, our courses and games are based on research-based remedial principles of the Science of Reading.
Annemarie is a veteran Remedial Specialist with decades of experience and qualifications. She has founded the Yellow Tree Learning Centre to address the needs that she witnessed first-hand working more than three decades in Education in South Africa.
Her unequivocal passion lies with equipping teachers to confidently teach children with severe reading delays or difficulties.

The Tree of Literacy is no ordinary tree—it is a living map of the reading mind. It's roots sink deep into Phonemic/Phonological Awareness and Phonics, anchoring learners in the foundations of language.
From the trunk of Fluency rise the branches of Vocabulary and Language Structure, each leaf a flicker of Comprehension, with an abundance of fruit - our curated and unique Resource Material. Sunlit by Motivation and unlocked by the guiding hand of a Teacher, this tree grows not in soil, but in minds nurtured by practice, patience, and play.
